A psychological survey was carried out with 53 pairs of mothers and children, inquiring color preference/color avoidance against various samples （e.g., single color patch, bi-color combination, scenic picture）.  There is no systematic relationship between mother and child concerning color preference/avoidance against simple and abstract targets （single color patch or bi-color combination）.
