However, it is unable to succeed without understanding the characteristics of the industry, which has to meet daily-living needs of persons with disability. The purpose of this paper is to describe the characteristics from four viewpoints.1) Daily living of persons with disability need the continuity, comprehensiveness, easy accessibility and variety of services.2) The characteristics of goods or services and its delivery systems are that the demands and roles of family caregivers, formal carers, in particular care managers, have to be taken into consideration.3) Compared with other industries, the personal social service and related services providers have to manage higher personnel expenditure ratio, integration with health services and the difficulty of quality control etc.4) The government plays significant roles under the public long-term care insurance, for example the prices of services are decided by the central government.The manager of welfare industry meeting daily-living needs of persons with disability must to know these key characteristics if he want to succeed.}, pages = {55--66}, title = {生活支援ニーズに応える福祉産業の特性}, volume = {26}, year = {2003}, yomi = {コンドウ, カツノリ} }
