Many of them have humble starts with small amount of initial investment, but have attained amazing success by keen understanding of entrepreneurial opportunities, adopting new radical strategy and management system, diversifying their activities into promising business areas. We also find SMEs actively developing in various fields..The key point is: which is more significant, keen understanding of entrepreneurial opportunities or the amount of initial investments in order to attain business success? The author's analysis of data shows that the abilities of enterprising largely affect the results, while the amount of initial investment is not so much.It is known, in some of the well matured economy, a well establishment of integrated big business might weaken SMEs' vitality and result in the economic decline. However, well integrated big businesses do not prevent SMEs from active development, the economy keeps its vitality. In this paper, the author found through the survey that both of the above typies of business enterprises are active and keep their vitalities in China so far.
