| 内容記述 | Objective: This study examined whether facility policies promoting assistive devices for repositioning and transfers (ADRTs) are associated with occupational health management (OHM) practices for preventing low back pain (LBP) among care workers in long-term care facilities in Japan. Methods: We conducted a nationwide cross-sectional web survey, with one administrator per facility. ADRT promotion policies and OHM implementation, assessed across five domains specified in the national workplace LBP prevention guidelines, were analyzed using cross-tabulations, Fisher’s exact test, and adjusted standardized residuals. Results: Facilities that actively promoted ADRT use were significantly more likely to implement OHM practices across multiple domains than facilities without such promotion. Such policies were also associated with greater awareness of the national guidelines. Conclusions: ADRT-promoting policies may be associated with multi-domain OHM implementation and higher guideline awareness. These findings suggest that such policies may reflect supportive management systems that prioritize care worker safety and facilitate organized, integrated workplace efforts to prevent work-related LBP. |
